Drum tum 肚子鼓

tum 这词只是为了压韵吗?我怎么不认识?

原来是肚子,孩子把 stomach 拼成 tummy,又简化成 tum。

tum or tum·my| ˈtəmē | noun (plural tummies) informal

a person's stomach or abdomen: [as modifier] : a tummy upset.

ORIGIN mid 19th century: child's pronunciation of stomach.

“Dum dum diddle” 又是什么鬼?

这是一首上世纪七十年代的美国民谣歌曲名,两个女生自编自唱,讲对一位忧郁、敏感的男生的爱慕。词挺傻,但歌很火。参考维基页。

副歌唱到:

Dum dum diddle to be your fiddle,

To be so near ya and not just hear ya

Dum dum diddle, to be your fiddle,

I think then maybe youd see me, baby

You'd be mine

And we'd be together all the time

Wish I was dum dum diddle, your darling fiddle.

“fiddle”是小提琴的别名,当它用于民谣,而不用作经典曲目时,常被叫作“fiddle”。

fid·dle| ˈfidl | noun 1 informal a violin, especially when used to play folk music.

fit as a fiddle (also as fit as a fiddle) in very good health.

“Chant”与“speak, read, say”有什么区别?

“Chant”与“speak, read, say”根本不是一回事,它与“sing, shout, intone”类似,都要带节奏。

  1. To sing, especially without instruments, and as applied to monophonic and pre-modern music.

“Verse”是多长的段落?

诗多用反复的结构,“Verse”就是其中相同结构的一个段落。

  1. One of several similar units of a song, consisting of several lines, generally rhymed.

Jack in the box 盒子里的杰克

这歌词不带节奏啊

在 Apple Music 里找到一种唱法,在这个专辑里排第 21 首。
